Sandy Marsico

Sandy Marsico is the Founder and CEO of Sandstorm, a UX and Web Development Agency in Chicago with 20+ years of developing enterprise-level Drupal websites. A fine artist and successful entrepreneur, she started Sandstorm at the age of 24, and now her company develops digital brand experiences for purpose-driven brands including associations, global nonprofits, healthcare systems and higher education institutions. Her company is highly collaborative in their approach to brand strategy, user experience, Drupal development, custom development, AI strategy, and analytics.

Sandy’s unique perspective on company culture has led to explosive growth at Sandstorm, as well as numerous keynote speaking engagements and accolades including the Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Company, Fortune’s Top 100 Fastest Growing Inner City Companies in America, Enterprising Women of the Year, and Chicago’s 101 Best & Brightest Companies to Work For.

Sandy holds a Bachelor’s in Fine Art from the University of Illinois, and a Master’s in Marketing from Northwestern University. She is on the board of directors for WPO (Women Presidents Organization) helping lead the technology, strategy, marketing and events committees. She is also the Vice Chair of FWPO (Foundation) leading sponsorships. Outside of her business, she can be found snowboarding, wakesurfing, reading or traveling with her family.
