Dr. Kirsten Ingmar Heiss

Dr Kirsten Ingmar Heiss is the founder and managing director of OpenCampus, a European initiative to provide an open ecosystem for Higher Education management. Kirsten is a Medical Doctor by training, but left the field to find ways to increase the impact of his actions. First working as IT consultant with Gartner, then with the United Nations Development Program implementing educational solutions in emerging countries, which ultimately led to Kirsten founding OpenCampus, as an open initiative, that allows institutions to create the digital technology they need, in a free, collaborative ecosystem.
