Full Stack Drupal Developer Job at The Standard India

• Develop and enhance CMS capabilities by building, extending, and maintaining Drupal modules, themes, and content‑driven experiences.
• Modernize Drupal site architecture, content models, and reusable platform components.
• Implement full‑stack features using Drupal (PHP, Symfony) and modern front‑end frameworks such as Angular, React or Next.js.
• Build and consume REST or GraphQL APIs to integrate Drupal with platform services.
• Strengthen shared enterprise experiences by contributing to reusable components supporting customer‑account and cross‑product journeys.
• Ensure platform quality, performance, observability, security, and accessibility across all features.
• Improve developer experience through enhanced tooling, patterns, documentation, and workflows for Drupal engineering.
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑tested Drupal code and participate in code reviews focused on long‑term scalability.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and deployment practices.
• Collaborate with Design, Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Data partners to align requirements and deliver customer‑centric outcomes.
• Use analytics, telemetry, and user research insights to guide platform and CMS enhancements.
• Advocate for accessibility, security, and Drupal platform best practices across code, documentation, and engineering processes.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity.
• Participate in PI and iteration planning to sequence work, assess risks, and align roadmap priorities.
• Support downstream product teams integrating Drupal or shared experience components to ensure successful, standardized delivery.
• Stay current with Drupal ecosystem advancements, CMS technologies, front‑end and back‑end best practices, accessibility guidelines, and platform engineering trends.
• Ability to work on‑site in Bengaluru, India is required. 

Experience:  Required 

• 5+ years of professional experience developing full‑stack applications or platform services, including significant experience with Drupal 9/10+.
• Strong experience with Drupal module and theme development, PHP, Symfony, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front‑end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Next.js.
• Hands‑on experience building and consuming REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with server‑side technologies such as PHP, Node.js, Java, or .NET.
• Experience working with CMS platforms (Drupal preferred; Adobe AEM, Contentful, or similar also valuable).
• Solid understanding of accessibility (ARIA, keyboard support, focus management) and inclusive UX.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Jest, Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
• Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and automation tooling.
• Familiarity with microservices, cloud platforms, and containerized environments.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and technical storytelling skills. 

Nice to Have 

• Experience with OAuth/OIDC and secure customer access patterns.
• Background with Web Performance Optimization or Core Web Vitals.
• Exposure to AI‑assisted developer tools and workflows.
• Experience contributing to shared enterprise platforms or multi‑brand digital ecosystems.
• Familiarity with telemetry instrumentation and observability tooling.
