JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Build and maintain Drupal websites and web applications with enterprise-grade scalability.
  • Create custom modules and themes to extend Drupal?s functionality.
  • Implement responsive, accessible designs for optimal user experience across devices.
  • Translate wireframes and UX designs into functional applications.
  • Ensure visually appealing, intuitive, and performant theme implementation.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate APIs and modern frameworks (React, Vue). 

Digital Experience Platform (DXP) Integration 

  • Work with Acquia DXP 2.0 and other composable platforms to orchestrate multi-channel experiences.
  • Integrate Drupal with CRM, marketing automation, commerce, and personalization engines.
  • Support enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives. 

AI-Driven Development 

  • Utilize Drupal Canvas AI Assistant and other AI-powered tools to accelerate development workflows.
  • Explore automation opportunities for layout generation, personalization, and testing.
  • Stay updated on AI-first approaches in Drupal?s evolving ecosystem. 

Troubleshooting & Support 

  • Debug and resolve Drupal-related issues and errors.
  • Provide support to Drupal site users and stakeholders.
  • Test, document, and release software updates. 

Collaboration & Communication 

  • Work closely with designers, content managers, and project managers.
  • Communicate frequently with project teams to maintain situational awareness.
  • Prioritize, track, and document feature requests, enhancements, and bugs.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives. 

Technical Skills & Knowledge 

  • Strong understanding of Drupal 9/10+ architecture and codebase.
  • Proficiency in PHP, Symfony, Composer, Twig, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with source control tools (Git, SVN).
  • Experience with Drupal theming techniques and modern front-end frameworks.
  • Ability to optimize Drupal websites for performance and security.
  • Knowledge and exposure of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes.
