JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Edit and manage website content using the Drupal Web Content Management System (WCMS).
  • Create clear, concise, and plain language content for the web.
  • Develop and implement Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies to improve content visibility.
  • Provide guidance, support, and training to junior Drupal/WCMS content editors.
  • Collaborate closely with senior Drupal developers to deliver web content and digital solutions.
  • Participate in customer Agile ceremonies, design discussions, sprint planning, and development meetings.
  • Create and deliver presentations related to web content, content strategy, and WCMS processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed. 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or
  • Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance (contract requirement). 

Required Skills

  • Experience editing content using the Drupal Web Content Management System (WCMS).
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to write plain language web content.
  • Knowledge of content strategy and Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
  • Strong presentation creation and delivery skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in Agile development environments. 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Figma.
  • Experience training and mentoring other WCMS/Drupal content editors.
  • Spanish plain language translation skills.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
