JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Maintaining a headless Drupal CMS that provides content to eCommerce websites and mobile applications.
  • Building and maintaining REST APIs in Drupal to deliver structured content to frontend applications.
  • Ensuring content delivery is aligned with JSON schema definitions.
  • Enhancing the editorial experience by implementing user-friendly interfaces and reusable content structures.
  • Developing and maintaining page-building tools in accordance with Drupal best practices.
  • Managing and optimizing Drupal hosting environments on the Acquia Cloud platform.
  • Ensuring platform performance, security, and scalability.
  • Optimizing website performance through multi-layer caching strategies, including Drupal Cache, Varnish, and CDN solutions.
  • Implementing and maintaining cache invalidation mechanisms for dynamic content.
  • Collaborating with UX/UI designers to ensure accessibility and SEO best practices are embedded within content structures.

 

To ensure success in this role, you need the following experience and skills:

  • Experience with Drupal CMS development and maintenance.
  • Experience working with headless Drupal implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of REST API development in Drupal.
  • Understanding of JSON schemas and structured content delivery.
  • Experience with Acquia Cloud platform administration and optimization.
  • Knowledge of caching technologies, including Drupal Cache, Varnish, and CDN solutions.
  • Experience designing reusable content structures and editorial tools in Drupal.
  • Understanding of web accessibility and SEO best practices.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers.
