JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Lead the Drupal migration project, including:
    • Roadmap execution
    • Risk management
    • Governance
    • Project reporting
  • Oversee all web development and website solutions, including:
    • Platform enhancements
    • Development of web standards
    • Ongoing maintenance of website solutions
    • Negotiation and management of vendor contracts
  • Lead major website projects and initiatives, including:
    • Large-scale website redesigns
    • Software upgrades and implementations
    • Development of online tools and interactive features
    • Automation of processes between systems
    • Coordination of internal developers, external vendors, CMS resources, or a combination of these
  • Manage relationships, contracts, deliverables, and performance of strategic technology partners, including:
    • Evolving Web – Drupal implementation partner
    • Pantheon – cloud hosting provider
    • External integration and development vendors
  • Ensure vendor activities are aligned with:
    • Project deliverables
    • Institutional priorities
    • Project timelines
  • Manage web governance processes and web-related projects across the organization.
  • Act as the primary liaison between:
    • Business support groups
    • Information Technology
    • Web development teams
  • Analyze project requirements, coordinate and allocate resources, develop technical solutions, and ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of the web platform.
  • Lead and manage departmental resources to support operational and strategic objectives.
  • Work with senior leadership to:
    • Recommend budget plans
    • Manage a significant operating budget
    • Optimize financial investments
    • Maximize value and achieve organizational priorities
  • Communicate operational information regarding the use of web support resources.
  • Ensure team communications are:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a:

    • Technical advisor
    • Consultant
    • Supervisor
  • Experience with modern web development technologies, industry standards, and best practices in:
    • Web architecture
    • Automation
    • Security
    • Testing
  • Experience with marketing strategy.
  • Experience with Drupal Enterprise Web Content Management System.
  • Experience with Agile development practices. 

Technical & Domain Knowledge

  • Expert understanding of website design and online marketing, including:
    • Web development practices

    • Online community standards and practices
  • Experience developing and delivering training related to:
    • Web development
    • CMS technologies
    • Web solutions
  • Experience with web analytics tools, particularly Google Analytics, and metrics management.
