JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Develop and maintain web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web development languages and frameworks.
  • Develop and enhance Drupal-based websites, including front-end development and integration with web hosting environments.
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize Drupal search technologies, including Apache Solr.
  • Manage and update website content, including text, images, multimedia, and other digital assets within Drupal CMS.
  • Ensure website content is consistent, accurate, timely, and aligned with established graphic, usability, and accessibility standards.
  • Implement and maintain WCAG accessibility compliance and ensure appropriate placement of website content and links.
  • Support integration of service-related links to other government departments and external agencies.
  • Apply website security best practices, including SSL/TLS, firewalls, vulnerability monitoring, and malware prevention.
  • Regularly update Drupal software, plugins, themes, and other website components to maintain security and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot website functionality, server configuration, and user-access issues.
  • Work with IT teams and external vendors as needed to resolve technical issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with Drupal CMS and Drupal front-end development.
  • Experience with Drupal search technologies, particularly Apache Solr.
  • Experience working with web hosting environments.
  • Knowledge of website security practices and vulnerability prevention.
  • Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards.
  • Experience managing website content and multimedia through Drupal.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
