JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Design and implement new features and functionality.
  • Establish and guide website architecture.
  • Ensure high performance, scalability, and availability of Drupal websites.
  • Manage all technical aspects of the CMS.
  • Design and develop service interfaces between Drupal and external systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze new and existing systems.
  • Provide business-focused technical solutions.
  • Evaluate community solutions and develop custom Drupal modules when required.
  • Train and mentor junior team members on technologies, solutions, and best practices.
  • Identify development and maintenance tasks, estimate effort, and contribute to work scheduling.
  • Perform performance tuning and code optimization.
  • Test, support, troubleshoot, and maintain existing intranet and internet sites.
  • Write and maintain SQL queries for reporting and data extraction.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Drupal/PHP Web Application Developer.
  • Strong understanding of the software/project development lifecycle.
  • Extensive experience with Drupal 8 and Drupal 9.
  • Enterprise-level Drupal experience.
  • Experience with Drupal module configuration.
  • Strong knowledge of Drupal architecture, APIs, and custom module development.
  • Ability to design and architect systems using prototypes and Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
  • Expertise in Drupal 9 theming using:
    • Twig
    • JavaScript/jQuery
    • Bootstrap 4
    • CSS/SCSS/Sass
  • Experience integrating open-source and third-party applications with existing websites.
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, PHP files, theme functions, and the Drupal theme layer.
  • Experience with MySQL tools and writing MySQL queries.
  • Expertise in Drupal module and website maintenance and administration.
  • Knowledge of Drupal best practices, caching techniques, and build/deployment processes.
  • Strong understanding of HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Proven experience building dynamic and responsive websites using Drupal and PHP.
  • Thorough understanding of web technologies and browser capabilities and limitations.
  • Experience with modern front-end technologies/frameworks such as:
    • Node.js
    • React.js
    • Bootstrap
    • Tailwind CSS

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of the latest versions of Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux operational commands.
  • Experience with:
    • Git
    • SSO
    • NPM
    • Composer
    • Drush
    • Drupal API
