Momentum Mozgalom

Momentum Mozgalom (Momentum Movement) is a centrist political party in Hungary, established in May 2017. It originated from a group formed in early 2015 by a small number of individuals. The group registered as an association in November 2016, led by lawyer Dániel Károly Csala. In early 2017, the association initiated a campaign for a referendum regarding Budapest's bid for the 2024 Summer Olympics, gaining support from 143 members and 1,800 activists. After becoming an official political party in May 2017 with 99 founding members, Momentum has since grown its membership to over 3,000 and is recognized as one of the prominent political parties in Hungary.
