abgeordnetenwatch.de is a non-partisan and non-profit transparency organization. Since we are mainly financed by donors - currently over 10,000 - and are not dependent on advertising or institutional donors, we are completely independent in our work.

We want to strengthen citizen participation and make political processes more transparent. The basis of this work is our dialog platform abgeordnetenwatch.de, which allows citizens to publicly contact members of parliament. To make this platform possible, data on candidates and elected representatives must be researched and maintained, questions and answers must be moderated by a team and contact must be maintained with donors and supporters.
