Carlos Ospina

Carlos is a Computer Engineer with over 20 years of experience in Development, System Administration, Information Security, Digital Certification, and Web Development for private and public sector companies, with emphasis on using Open Source technologies. A customer success-oriented professional with over four years of experience in helping the customer succeed with their Web Development projects.

His experience includes creating the first Internet/E-mail nodes using Linux for government agencies in Colombia, the first Digital Certification Authority in Colombia, PHP, and Visual Basic Development as well as four years of Drupal Development as a Front End Developer, Site Builder, and Back End development.

Carlos is always involved in the Open Source community; He participates in both the Latin American/ Colombian Drupal community and the Houston Drupal community. He Helped organize DrupalCon Latin America in February 2015 and different meetups in the Houston area.

A drupal contributor, Carlos has provided basic distribution and patches to the Drupal 7 contrib ecosystem and is Theme and Core contributor in Drupal 8.
