UN Biodiversity

The Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) is an international treaty aimed at conserving biodiversity, promoting sustainable use of its components, and ensuring fair sharing of benefits arising from genetic resources. It facilitates cooperation among countries and organizations to implement the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, which includes various initiatives and programs focused on ecosystem restoration, biodiversity monitoring, and addressing environmental challenges.
