Architect of the Capitol

The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) is responsible for serving Congress and the Supreme Court by maintaining, preserving, and managing the U.S. Capitol complex. Its activities include caring for the Capitol's buildings, grounds, and artworks, supporting public education and visitor experiences, and ensuring the security and functionality of the Capitol campus.
