ITER Organization

ITER is a collaborative international project aimed at demonstrating the feasibility of nuclear fusion as a large-scale and carbon-free energy source. Located in southern France, it involves 33 nations working together to build the world's largest tokamak, a magnetic fusion device designed to replicate the energy production process of the sun. The project focuses on achieving sustainable fusion reactions, testing advanced technologies for future fusion power plants, and contributing to the scientific understanding of fusion energy.
