National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA)

The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) is a U.S. government agency within the Department of Commerce that advises the President on telecommunications and information policy. Its mission includes ensuring affordable high-speed Internet access, managing spectrum use, developing Internet safety policies, and conducting research to inform technology policy. NTIA also administers grant programs to enhance broadband deployment and collaborates with other agencies on telecommunications issues.
