Global Environment Facility

The Global Environment Facility (GEF) is a multilateral fund that provides financing to developing countries to address environmental challenges and meet international environmental goals. Over its three decades of operation, GEF has allocated more than $26 billion in grants and mobilized an additional $153 billion for environmental projects, focusing on areas such as biodiversity, pollution, and climate change.
