Canadian Blood Services manages the national blood, plasma, stem cell, and organ/tissue donation systems in Canada. They collect, test, manufacture, and distribute blood products and related therapies, operate donor registries, support transplantation, and conduct research to improve transfusion and transplantation medicine.
