The website Qantara.de serves as a dialogue platform aimed at fostering understanding between European and Islamic societies. Established in response to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, it has been promoting communication through well-researched articles for over 20 years. The initiative is implemented by the ifa (Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations) and is supported by the German Foreign Office. Qantara focuses on cultural, political, and societal topics, providing a space for voices from various fields, including art, research, and civil society, to collaborate and engage in meaningful discussions.
