The Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (favv-afsca.be) is a Belgian government administration responsible for ensuring food chain safety and quality. It oversees controls on food, feed, fertilizers, and phytopharmaceuticals, and manages sanitary and phytosanitary prevention and communication with consumers.
