Central Information Commission

The Central Information Commission, established under the Right to Information Act, 2005, is responsible for adjudicating appeals and ensuring transparency in the implementation of RTI provisions across Central Public Authorities in India. Its jurisdiction covers all Central Public Authorities, with powers outlined in sections 18, 19, 20, and 25 of the Act.
