Psychology Today is looking for a talented full stack Drupal developer to help shape the largest behavioral science publishing enterprise in the world. They're looking for someone who has significant experience customizing Drupal 8 or 9, and a proven track record developing scalable high traffic solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
You'll join an agile team on a biweekly sprint cadence delivering continuously into an AWS infrastructure. You'd be working in a remote, virtual environment, interacting daily with developers, designers, editors and writers.
Duties include developing and maintaining the new high performance headless Drupal 9 architecture for PsychologyToday.com; perfecting editorial tools and workflows; and creating a variety of front ends and syndication.
This is a unique chance for a talented developer to work on a team touching the lives of over 30 million monthly readers and to take part in publishing the work of content written by clinicians, experts and researchers from across the fields of behavior and psychology. Hours are Eastern Standard Time; the position is remote.

Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in CS or equivalent experience
- Highly proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS/SASS, Javascript, SQL
- Minimum of 4 years of frontend and backend web development in a high traffic web application with a recent emphasis on Drupal 8/9.
- Experience theming drupal sites working from design mocks and technical specifications.
- Experience working in a frontend framework like Vue or React.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services including EC2 and RDS
- Technical SEO fundamentals
- Continuous integration and continuous deployment
- Understanding of caching technologies such as Varnish and Redis.
- Experience with Apache Solr integration with Drupal
Pay Scale: $120,000-$150,000
