The Not So Technical Way of Helping the Drupal Community

The Drupal Community Working Group (CWG) is cooperating with Otter Tech to administer monthly Code Of Conduct workshops. The upcoming enforcement training is to be held on Wednesday, 2nd November 2022. The workshop will be conducted online via zoom From 5:00 to 9:00 PDT. Code of Conduct training ensures a safer environment.

Otter tech is known to offer training for code of conduct skills, especially to those members belonging to the technology industry. The CEO of Otter tech, Sage Sharp emphases the toxic and burned-out environment in the tech industry. Hence, they took these common experiences and then created a safer, interactive and inclusive environment to help leaders learn about what a good working setting entails.

This workshop invites Drupal Event community members who handle code of conduct violation reports as well as potential issues that may occur during community events. Training is provided to attain “First responder” skills towards Drupal attendees. This is not only meant for Drupal members but for other code of conduct enforcement teams from different open-source events to bring about interaction and added knowledge. The Standard cost of the workshop is $350, however, Ottertech has provided a $50 discount for Drupal Community members.
