An Update on WCAG 3.0 – A San Francisco Virtual Meetup
The San Francisco Drupal Users Group (SFDUG) invites fellow Drupal users to attend the Virtual event on the occasion of an Update on WCAG 3.0, i.e. the Web Content accessibility guidelines. It will be conducted on 10 November 2022 Thursday from 5:30-7:30 pm PDT. The organizers will send a zoom link via email to all who register and RSVP for the same.
The online event is an initiative of MEETUP users, a platform designed to build local communities, communicate with new people and learn new things.
The session will consist of discussions about networking and socializing, briefing on the refurbished WCAG 3.0 and concluding with more conversation about Drupal. The presentation will focus on the new improvements and learning to use these latest guidelines.
The speaker for the same is Juanita George. She currently works as an ADA Digital Program Manager for the Marketing Agile Delivery Team and chairs the Digital A11ies Task Force and Community of Practice.
The SFDUG is a public group with over a thousand members with an atmosphere for mutual respect, learning and productive dialogue. They request all the participants adhere to the Drupal Code of Conduct to ensure a friendly and safe environment.
