Drupal Community Seeks New Members for Conflict Resolution Team

In a continuous effort to maintain a healthy and inclusive environment, the Drupal Community is actively recruiting individuals to join its Conflict Resolution Team (CRT). Led by the Community Working Group (CWG), the CRT plays a vital role in upholding Drupal's Code of Conduct and facilitating communication during times of tension within the community.

The CWG, comprised of dedicated volunteers, focuses on supporting community health and fostering a productive space for all members. It consists of two teams: the Community Health Team (CHT), responsible for developing and supporting community initiatives, and the Conflict Resolution Team (CRT), which handles conflict resolution and ensures adherence to the code of conduct.

To ensure a well-rounded understanding of community dynamics, all members of the Conflict Resolution Team must now serve on the Community Health Team before joining the CRT. This approach allows individuals to gain insights into various community initiatives and challenges members face.

Given the rotating nature of the Conflict Resolution Team, members typically serve for a maximum of three years, allowing experienced members to transition into advisory roles as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). As a result, the team is now seeking one or two new members to join within the next three to six months.

If you or someone you know is passionate about sustaining community health and psychological security within the Drupal Community, this could be an exciting opportunity. Interested individuals are encouraged to contact the CWG via email at [email protected] for more information and to express their interest.

By adding new members to the Conflict Resolution Team, the Drupal Community aims to strengthen further its commitment to inclusivity, positive communication, and a thriving community spirit. Joining this team provides an opportunity to contribute to the growth and well-being of the Drupal ecosystem.

As Drupal continues to evolve and attract diverse participants, the dedication of individuals serving on the Conflict Resolution Team becomes increasingly crucial in maintaining a welcoming and supportive community for all its members.
