New Drupal Module Enhances Navigation: Active Menu Item by Path

Developer Rahaf Albawab introduced a new Drupal module, the Active Menu Item by Path, on March 3, 2024. This module aims to simplify Drupal navigation by automatically highlighting active menu items based on the current path, enhancing user experience within Drupal websites. 

With compatibility across all menu templates, an intuitive configuration page for menu item selection, and support for complex multi-level menus and straightforward navigation structures, the Active Menu Item by Path module offers a flexible and scalable solution for dynamic menu management. Its seamless integration and user-friendly interface make it a valuable addition to the Drupal community, promising to elevate website navigation to new levels.

Following a standard installation process akin to other Drupal modules, users can easily configure menu selection by navigating to "/admin/config/content/active-menu-settings" post-installation. Granting permission for "Active menu item by path" ensures access control, allowing for tailored navigation experiences within Drupal sites.
