2024 Open Source Developer Survey Still Open for Submissions

The Linux Foundation reminds the open-source community that the 2024 Open Source Developer Survey is still open for submissions. This survey, designed to take approximately five minutes, seeks to understand the resources software developers use to improve their technical skills, advance their careers, and stay updated in their field. The survey data and findings will be summarized in a report published on the Linux Foundation website, with the dataset also made publicly available on Data.World.

Participants who qualify and complete the survey will receive a code for a 30% discount on any Linux Foundation e-learning training course or certification exam, valid until September 30, 2024. This offer is limited to individual purchases and excludes THRIVE-ONE subscriptions and FinOps courses and certifications. Additionally, Linux Foundation Research will donate to the Linux Foundation’s Travel Fund for each completed survey, helping open source developers and community members attend events they might otherwise miss due to funding constraints.
