Jon Pugh Introduces "Launchpad" for Rapid Drupal Multisite Creation
Jon Pugh, an enterprise web technology consultant and Founder of ThinkDrop Inc., has developed a tool called "Launchpad" that simplifies the creation of new Drupal sites. Using a wildcard domain and a custom `settings.php`, the system enables instant site creation without additional backend operations. New sites are automatically directed to a pre-configured Drupal installation page with a ready database.
Pugh’s tool, which could be used for Drupal demo platforms or multisite management, is available on GitHub. He plans further testing before a wider release.
