Call for Volunteers: DrupalCon Atlanta 2025
DrupalCon Atlanta 2025 seeks volunteers to help shape the event, offering opportunities for community members to contribute to one of the most significant gatherings in the Drupal ecosystem. Organizers are calling for participants to serve in various roles, from program development to event logistics, to enhance the DrupalCon experience for attendees and advance the Drupal project. Volunteers who commit at least eight hours will receive a complimentary ticket to the conference.
Key volunteer roles include positions on the Speaker Review Committee, Marketing & Outreach Committee, and Summit Program Committees. These roles require a time commitment of 20 to 35 hours and provide valuable experience in conference planning, content curation, and participant engagement. Local Atlanta residents are also encouraged to apply as Local Ambassadors, helping to share insights about the city with visitors, while translation assistants will support non-English speakers during the event.
On-site roles are also available, such as Logistics Contributors, Trivia Night Coordinators, and New User Mentors. These roles typically require 4 to 10 hours of on-site assistance during DrupalCon, and they offer the chance to interact with attendees and ensure smooth event operations.
Volunteers will gain practical experience in community engagement, expand their networks within the open-source community, and earn recognition for their contributions. Additionally, volunteers will receive official Drupal contribution credits, furthering their involvement in the ongoing development of the project. Applications are open now for those eager to help make DrupalCon Atlanta 2025 a success. Find more details here.
