April Sides to Lead Agile and Git Workflow Training at Florida DrupalCamp 2025
April Sides, Principal Software Engineer at Red Hat, will lead a full-day training session at Florida DrupalCamp 2025 on February 21, 2025, in Orlando, FL. The session, titled "Introduction to Agile and Git Workflows for Web Developers," is designed for beginner-level developers seeking to improve their understanding of team-based development practices.
Scheduled from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the training falls under the Project Management & Consulting category. It will cover foundational Agile principles and the Gitflow workflow, two widely used methodologies for collaborative web development. Participants will gain hands-on experience in task management, version control, and code contribution within a team setting.
The session is ideal for developers seeking to join or contract with organizations implementing Agile and Git-based workflows. Attendees should have a basic understanding of Git commands (clone, add, commit, and push) and experience with code-driven website development, such as static HTML or Drupal. A laptop and a free GitHub account are required for hands-on activities.
Florida DrupalCamp 2025 runs from February 21-23, 2025, featuring training sessions, presentations, and contribution opportunities for the Drupal community. More details about April Sides’ session are available on the Training Session Page. For general event information, visit Florida DrupalCamp.
