QED42 Showcases Early Features of AI-Powered Page Builder for Drupal

QED42 has revealed early features of the "XB AI Assistant" module in a recent LinkedIn update, highlighting how GenAI can simplify page building in Drupal’s Experience Builder. The video demo shows an AI assistant generating entire page templates from short, natural language prompts like “Create a homepage for a university website” or “Add a slider with five slides.”

The assistant analyzes available Single Directory Components (SDCs) and assembles them into structured, context-aware layouts. It also adds components intelligently based on page structure and content, reducing manual effort and speeding up the build process.

Though still in early development, the module is now available as a contributed project for the Drupal community to try out.

The demo uses the Starshot theme, with special credit to Akhil Babu and Anand Toshniwal for driving it from ideation to development. This marks a promising step in blending GenAI with Drupal's site-building experience.
