The International Splash Awards has officially opened submissions for its 2025 edition, taking place on 14 October 2025 as part of DrupalCon Vienna, which runs from 14–17 October 2025. The awards recognise outstanding projects built with Drupal, one of the world’s most widely used open-source content management systems. Submissions are open until 16 June 2025.

Open to individuals and organisations involved in designing, developing, or managing Drupal-based websites and platforms, the Splash Awards cover ten categories, including Commerce, Education, Healthcare, Government & Public Services, and Design/UX. Projects must have been created between 1 January 2023 and 1 July 2025 to be eligible.

Each entry is reviewed by an independent jury and judged on a range of criteria: business impact, technical execution, innovation, design quality, user experience, and contributions to the Drupal community. The submission fee is €349 per project per category, and includes two tickets to the awards ceremony during DrupalCon Vienna.
