What's New in the Drupal CMS User Guide: June 2025 Update for Site Builders
Amber Matz shares an update on the Drupal CMS User Guide’s latest enhancements, aimed at making it a comprehensive resource for both new and experienced site builders. The guide, which covers everything from installation to launch, now includes two newly added sections: "Promote content with SEO" and "Keep your site up-to-date." The SEO section introduces essential tools for content optimisation, while the site maintenance section provides detailed instructions on keeping a Drupal CMS site secure and up-to-date through both manual and automatic updates. These updates aim to simplify crucial tasks for users and help them build better, more maintainable websites.
The guide is a continuous work-in-progress, organised around key site-building workflows. Future additions to the documentation include topics on tags, Google Analytics integration, accessibility, and customising content administration areas. The post also highlights how companies and agencies can contribute through the Adopt-A-Document program, helping to support ongoing efforts to improve Drupal documentation.
