Droptica Releases Open Intranet 1.0.0 on Drupal.org
Droptica has officially released version 1.0.0 of Open Intranet, a ready-to-use, Drupal-based intranet platform designed to improve internal communication, collaboration, and information sharing across organizations. The project, created by Grzegorz Bartman and first introduced in beta earlier this year, is now available as a stable release on Drupal.org.
Open Intranet offers a modular, scalable solution that includes features such as access-controlled news, team directories, calendars, internal forms, AI-assisted content creation, and responsive design. Built on Drupal 10 and powered by PHP 8, the system is compatible with major enterprise tools and platforms through API integrations, including Active Directory, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365.
The project has already gained traction, with 88 sites reporting usage and over 20 stars from the Drupal community. Droptica continues to encourage feedback through a short user survey to guide future improvements.
Installation requires DDEV and can be started via a simple Git clone and launch script. Developers and organizations can explore setup guides, demos, and consultation options through Droptica’s official product page.
