Drupal 25th Anniversary Gala to Be Held During DrupalCon Chicago

The Drupal community will celebrate the project’s 25th anniversary with a gala in Chicago on 25 March 2026, held alongside DrupalCon Chicago 2026. The event is scheduled from 05:30 to 08:30 GMT+5:30 at Chicago, Illinois  and is hosted by the Midwest Open Source Alliance.

The anniversary gala is being organised as a unified community event, bringing together contributors, agencies, sponsors, and long-time participants for an evening of recognition and connection. The programme will include food and beverages, music, and a dedicated space for conversation, alongside moments intended to acknowledge key milestones in Drupal’s 25-year history.

Organisers have introduced three ticket tiers to broaden access. A Community-Sponsored Ticket priced at $25 is available in limited quantities and subsidised through sponsorship support. A Celebration Ticket priced at $125 reflects the full per-person cost of the event. A Pay It Forward Ticket priced at $250 includes admission and an additional contribution to help offset attendance costs for others.
