Miffy Mascot Campaign Extends to DrupalCon Chicago with Ticket Giveaway for Rotterdam 2026

Organisers of DrupalCon Europe will bring the travelling mascot “Miffy” to DrupalCon Chicago, scheduled for 23–26 March, as part of a community campaign tied to DrupalCon Europe 2026 in Rotterdam.

The initiative centres on a photo-based contest in which attendees can take pictures with the mascot during events and share them publicly on platforms such as LinkedIn, X, or Instagram. Entries must include the hashtags #DrupalConRotterdam and #DrupalMiffy, along with a tag to the DrupalCon Europe account, to qualify for selection.

The campaign continues a format introduced in 2021, where a mascot travels across DrupalCamps, Splash Awards, and related community gatherings. Its stated purpose is to create continuity between regional events and the annual European conference.

A total of six tickets to DrupalCon Europe 2026 will be distributed through three raffles planned for the end of March, June, and September. Each draw will award two tickets selected randomly from eligible entries submitted before the respective deadline.

Each winning participant receives one ticket to the Rotterdam event. The ticket may be assigned to another individual at the time of registration, but it becomes non-transferable once confirmed.

The organisers also invite local event teams to host the mascot at DrupalCamps and related meetups. Participation involves coordinating with the DrupalCon Europe team, displaying the mascot at venues, and promoting the contest through announcements and social media activity.
