Drupal Events This Week: 20–26 July 2026

Professional Single Directory Components

The course, led by Michael Anello for DrupalEasy, continues online on 20, 22, and 24 July 2026 from 13:00 to 16:00 UTC each day. The 18-hour course is delivered through six three-hour sessions across two weeks, with the final three sessions falling within this week. Its curriculum covers Single-Directory Component fundamentals, props, slots, schemas, theme integration, Drupal Canvas, Drush scaffolding, and the use of AI during component development. The course is presented with Drupal 11 and is compatible with Drupal 10.3 and later.

The DropTimes July 2026 Open Townhall

The online meeting will take place on Zoom on 22 July 2026 at 15:30 UTC. Tarun Udayaraj, head of community relations at The DropTimes, will host the session. The meeting is open to contributors and Drupal community members interested in the publication’s news, events, interviews, social media, and ecosystem documentation. Participants can hear editorial updates, raise questions, suggest story ideas, and provide feedback on future coverage.

Secure at Speed with Fastly: Edge Delivery Without Compromise

The webinar takes place online on 22 July 2026 at 22:00 UTC. It is organised by amazee.io and Fastly for teams managing Drupal and other high-traffic or regulated web platforms. Peter Scott, Fastly’s channel manager for Australia and New Zealand, and Sean Hamlin, principal architect at amazee.io, are the listed speakers. The programme covers managed web application firewall and distributed denial-of-service protection, bot management, real-time logging, and the use of AI to examine traffic patterns.

Drupal Pune Meetup

The Drupalers Association Pune programme begins with coffee and introductions before the first technical session at 10:00. At 11:00, Akhil Babu will cover tool validation, guardrails, prompt-injection risks, cost controls, and human oversight for production AI agents.
