Drupaladas
Spain
Drupaladas is an initiative that was born with the purpose of promoting interactions between users of the Spanish-speaking Drupal community. The main objective is to recover the spirit of local groups under an online format and open to anyone without location restrictions.
Where can you find us?
The platform we use to communicate and organize meetups is Slack ( https://www.drupal.org/slack ). You can join the channels
- #drupal-initiatives
- #drupal-es.
I want to participate; how do I do it?
You have different ways of participation:
- Sign up for one of the planned drupaladas.
- Propose an activity directly through the issue queue . If you have an idea of an activity that you would like to do or that you think might be interesting, you can create an issue in the Drupaladas project and explain your proposal.
Types of meetings
These are some of the types of meetups that we have done or plan to do:
- Standard talk: Standard talk, lasting approximately 40 min. For example #3403777: GitLab CI for core and contrib
- Lighting talk: Short talk of approximately 20 minutes to present a topic in a light way. An example of what lightning talk would look like can be found at: https://vimeo.com/336298062 . Lighting talks are a good way to share your knowledge or experiences about some aspect of Drupal, such as a module, a technique, a success story, etc.
- Session rewatch: Review a session together with its author.
- Sprint : Sprint of code, translations or documentation focused on some specific module or area.
- Module Analysis : Analysis of a specific module covering its functionality and how it is implemented.
