JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Drupal-based applications for a government platform
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Drupal capabilities and best practices
  • Implement front-end components, ensuring accessibility, usability, and performance compliance
  • Perform testing on local and dev environments to validate new features and bug fixes
  • Follow Agile Scrum methodologies, participating in daily standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives
  • Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of UI/UX elements
  • Document research, bug fixes, and new features for team knowledge-sharing and future reference
  • Collaborate with development teams to refine user stories and acceptance criteria for seamless execution
  • Partner with UX/UI designers to enhance user experience and accessibility
  • Ensure alignment with business goals, regulatory compliance, and technical feasibility
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives
  • Conduct business analysis by gathering, documenting, and validating requirements
  • Perform gap analysis and propose solutions to meet business objectives
  • Support testing efforts, define test cases, and validate implementation results
  • Assist in change management, user training, and system documentation
  • Stay informed on Drupal modules, APIs, and industry best practices
  • Foster a collaborative Agile environment, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles
  • Identify and remove impediments that impact team productivity
  • Promote continuous improvement and Agile best practices across teams
  • Support backlog refinement and prioritization efforts
  • This is a full-time position, but you may be assigned other duties as needed 

Required Skills. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on Drupal
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and participation in Scrum ceremonies
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks
  • Strong understanding of Drupal theming, module development, and customization
  • Ability to work in a government environment requiring a Public Trust clearance 

Preferred Skills. 

  • Experience with Drupal 9 or later
  • Familiarity with Section 508 compliance and accessibility standards
  • Experience integrating Drupal with APIs, third-party services, and DevOps pipelines
  • Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, Github, DDEV, Acquia Stie Studio, and cloud-hosted environments
