JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Drupal (Drupal 8/9/10 preferred).
  • Build and customize Drupal modules, themes, and integrations with precision and consistency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers.
  • Ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices through careful review and testing.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs with a strong focus on accuracy and completeness.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for systems, processes, and workflows.
     

Required Qualifications:

  • 4–6 years of professional software development experience.
  • Expertise in Drupal (module development, theming, configuration management).
  • Proficiency in PHP and modern PHP development practices.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with Drupal ecosystem tools (Drush, Composer, Twig, etc.).
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Strongly preferred agile / SAFe certification, experience operating in a rigorous agile delivery and deployment 2 week cadence.
  • Experience in Government Contracting, prefer HHS prior experience if possible.
     

DevOps & Infrastructure Experience:

  • Experience with version control systems (Git).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins/Cloudbees, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Exposure to containerization tools like Docker.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
  • Understanding of deployment workflows, monitoring, and logging.
  • Jira and Confluence experience, SharePoint, MS Products.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication.
  • Independent ability to document & describe requirements for training & documentation needs.
