JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Highly skilled practitioner of Contentful, including content modeling at scale, multi-site and multi-brand architectures, and governance and editorial workflows
  • Proficient in designing and operating Contentful environments, including deployments, environments, edge capabilities, and performance optimization
  • Experienced in MACH, headless CMS, and composable digital experience architectures in enterprise environments
  • Highly proficient developer in TypeScript, Tailwind CSS and Node.js
  • Unrivalled in working directly with senior client stakeholders and acting as a credible technical authority
  • Excellent communicator with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exposed to large multi-brand or multi-region web platforms and complex content ecosystems
  • Confident in designing, governing, and evolving large-scale digital platforms with long-term sustainability in mind
  • Knowledgeable in unit testing frameworks such as Vitest and Jest
  • Strong in building solid CI/CD pipelines, observability practices, and cloud-native delivery models
  • Experienced working with components built around a Design System
  • Capable in building database models and handling migration scripts
  • Versed in large-scale CMS migrations or enterprise digital transformation programs
  • Familiar specialist with Vercel and Drupal-based ecosystems 

AND YOU WANT TO

  • Act as a trusted technical advisor for the client on composable digital experience architecture
  • Define, own, and evolve the target-state MACH architecture with Contentful at the core
  • Design and validate enterprise solutions using Contentful with advanced content modeling, multi-site and multi-brand setups, and governance at scale
  • Provide strategic guidance on scalability, governance, security, performance, and long-term platform sustainability
  • Serve as the final technical authority for key architectural and platform-level decisions
  • Architect and optimize delivery using Vercel including deployments, edge functions, preview workflows, and performance optimization
  • Design composable frontend architectures using React, Next.js, and Node.js with modern rendering and routing patterns
  • Establish best practices for composable frontend development and CMS integration
  • Enable functionality of internal teams and external agencies through architectural guardrails, reference implementations, design and code reviews
  • Collaborate closely with client core engineering leadership, internal delivery teams, and external technology partners
  • Coordinate architectural alignment across multiple parallel delivery streams
  • Identify technical risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks early and proactively address them
  • Contribute to defining the post-migration support and operating model
