- Develop high-performance, scalable backends, custom modules, and robust APIs
- Analyze existing systems, enhance them further, and ensure sustainable maintenance and stability
- Advise clients on technical and conceptual matters in a clear, solution-oriented, and collaborative manner
- Actively contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, and technical standards
- Help continuously improve development processes, toolchains, and code quality
What You Bring
- Several years of solid professional experience in developing modern web applications with a focus on Drupal
- Strong Drupal expertise (CMS architecture, Drupal API, custom module development, DDEV, Twig, htmx)
- Excellent PHP skills and experience with modern web technologies such as Docker, Redis, Solr, and Elasticsearch
- Experience with frameworks such as Symfony (especially in the Drupal ecosystem), optionally complemented by frontend frameworks like React or Vue

- Optimizing Drupal installations under heavy load, including caching strategies (Varnish, CDN integration), database tuning, and performance bottleneck analysis
- Using Drupal as a headless CMS together with modern frontend technologies (e.g., JSON:API, GraphQL, or decoupled architectures with Next.js, Nuxt, TanStack, or Gatsby)
- Hardening complex Drupal installations, including security-related configurations, Content Security Policies, regular security audits, and update strategies
- Migrating existing systems to new project setups and infrastructures
