JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Apply scientific and engineering methodologies to analyze and solve software engineering problems.
  • Participate in the research, design, development, testing, and maintenance of software solutions.
  • Apply software engineering best practices, standards, and methodologies throughout the software lifecycle.
  • Exercise independent judgment, critical thinking, and original problem-solving skills.
  • Supervise and support the technical and administrative activities of other software engineers when required.
  • Continuously develop expertise within the software engineering discipline.
  • Build and maintain competencies aligned with professional community standards and role expectations.
  • Collaborate effectively with software engineers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute as a team player to achieve project and organizational objectives. 

Grade-Specific Requirements

  • More than 1 year of relevant professional software engineering experience.
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Programming concepts
    • Software design principles
    • Software development methodologies
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while following established direction and guidance.
  • Consistently deliver accurate, reliable, and high-quality results.
  • Capable of handling a variety of tasks and technical challenges.
  • Demonstrate practical application of technical skills and software engineering knowledge.
  • Effectively organize and manage workload to meet assigned deliverables and deadlines.
  • Plan and execute tasks with a medium-term delivery horizon.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and project objectives.
  • Make a direct and positive contribution to project performance and success.
