Summary: 

• We are seeking an experienced Sr. Drupal Developer / Drupal Architect with strong expertise in Drupal 10 and Drupal 11 development, Acquia Cloud solutions, DevOps practices, and enterprise-grade web architectures.
• The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building scalable Drupal applications, implementing CI/CD pipelines, managing Acquia environments, and developing APIs and Drupal Commerce solutions.
• The role requires hands-on experience with Acquia Cloud, Acquia Site Factory (ACSF), Acquia CLI, Drupal Commerce, modern PHP development, and API design and integration.
• The candidate will be responsible for delivering secure, high-performing, and scalable Drupal solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Experience Required

• 7+ years of experience in Drupal development, architecture, and implementation.
• Strong experience delivering enterprise Drupal solutions using Drupal 10 and Drupal 11.
• Proven experience working with Acquia platforms and cloud-based Drupal deployments.
• Experience implementing DevOps practices and CI/CD automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance Drupal 10 and Drupal 11 applications.
• Design and implement enterprise Drupal solutions using Acquia Cloud, Acquia Site Factory (ACSF), and Acquia CLI.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate development, testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Develop, customize, and maintain Drupal modules, themes, and reusable components.
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and custom integrations with third-party systems.
• Implement and maintain Drupal Commerce solutions for enterprise eCommerce platforms.
• Manage code repositories, branching strategies, and deployments using Git and modern DevOps methodologies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Monitor, optimize, and enhance website performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
• Support Drupal upgrades, migrations, and platform modernization initiatives.
• Participate in architecture reviews, technical discussions, and best-practice implementation.

Primary Skills

• Expertise in Drupal 10 and Drupal 11 development, including custom module development, site building, and theming.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Acquia Cloud
• Acquia Site Factory (ACSF)
• Acquia CLI
• Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps practices.
• Strong proficiency in PHP 8+ development and modern coding standards.
• Experience with API setup, development, integration, and management (REST, JSON APIs, custom integrations).
• Strong knowledge of Drupal Commerce implementation and customization.
• Advanced understanding of Git, version control workflows, and deployment processes.
• Experience with Composer, configuration management, and Drupal deployment best practices.
• Experience with JIRA for project management and task tracking.

Must have Qualifications

• Site Studio (latest version) certification.
• Acquia Certified Developer, Acquia Certified Architect, or Acquia Grand Master certification.
• Experience with Acquia Site Studio and low-code Drupal development approaches.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, containerization, and deployment automation.
• Experience with enterprise-scale Drupal performance optimization and security hardening.

Secondary Skills

• Experience in Drupal upgrades and migration projects.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in client-facing consulting roles.
