JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Develop backend functionalities using Drupal.
  • Create and maintain custom Drupal modules.
  • Configure entities, content types, views, taxonomies, forms, and publishing workflows.
  • Expose and consume REST APIs and JSON:API services within Drupal.
  • Integrate Drupal with external services, enterprise systems, and decoupled frontend applications.
  • Implement security best practices, including roles, permissions, and access control.
  • Optimize website performance, caching, and database queries.
  • Participate in deployments, code reviews, and technical support activities.
  • Document configurations, integrations, and technical decisions. 

Technical Requirements

  • Strong experience with Drupal 9/10.
  • Advanced proficiency in PHP.
  • Experience developing custom Drupal modules.
  • Solid knowledge of Drupal APIs, including:
    • Entity API
    • Form API
    • Render API
    • Plugin API
    • Hooks and Event Subscribers
  • Experience with Composer, Drush, and dependency management.
  • Experience integrating REST APIs and JSON:API.
  • Knowledge of relational databases, particularly MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Proficiency with Git version control.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices, including roles, permissions, and data sanitization.
  • Familiarity with Linux, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus. 

Soft Skills

  • Strong technical analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and resolve technical issues autonomously.
  • Effective communication with frontend developers, QA teams, and architects.
  • Strong focus on code quality, maintainability, and documentation.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills. 

Minimum Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in backend development, with strong expertise in Drupal.
