JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Design, develop, and maintain Drupal-based websites and web applications following Drupal best practices and coding standards.  
  • Develop custom Drupal modules and extend Drupal core functionality through configuration and customization.
  • Build custom Drupal themes and templates using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Twig.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, front-end developers, and stakeholders to implement design concepts.
  • Develop responsive, mobile-friendly websites compatible with multiple devices and screen sizes.
  • Optimize website performance, scalability, and security using efficient coding, caching strategies, and server configurations.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and external services into Drupal applications.
  • Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.
  • Stay current with the latest Drupal technologies, trends, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team.
  • Participate in project planning, effort estimation, technical documentation, and provide technical recommendations. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Drupal development.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating successful Drupal projects.
  • Expertise in Drupal site building, configuration management, and content modeling.
  • Strong PHP development skills with solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
  • Experience with Drupal theming using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Twig.
  • Hands-on experience with Git for version control.
  • Experience with Jenkins or other Continuous Integration (CI) tools.
  • Strong understanding of Drupal APIs, hooks, and contributed modules.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Acquia Certified Drupal Developer or other Drupal certification.
  • Experience with Drupal 10 migration projects, including migration tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, automated deployment, provisioning, and monitoring tools.
  • Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and accessible web development practices.
  • Experience with modern web technologies and frameworks such as Symfony, React, or Angular.
