Drupal Spotlight Meetup to Explore AI, Drupal CMS, ECA, and Media Workflows
Technical sessions on AI-assisted publishing, Drupal CMS, ECA workflows, and media platform development are scheduled for the Drupal Spotlight meetup taking place on 12 May from 17:00 to 21:00 CEST. The event is organised and hosted by ACOLONO GmbH and is open to developers, designers, Drupal users, and attendees interested in Drupal technologies and workflows.
Sessions will begin after doors open at 17:00, with most presentations delivered in German. Christian Ziegler and Nico Grienauer of ACOLONO GmbH are scheduled to present how Drupal is being used as an AI-supported backend for news media workflows within the “PULS 24” content platform.
Wolfgang Ziegler of drunomics GmbH will present a session on Drupal CMS and Drupal Canvas focused on page-building workflows using a Vue.js frontend architecture. Another presentation from Alex Gruber of lowfidelity GmbH will examine the evolution of Bank Austria’s live-streaming infrastructure from a production system into a broader content hub workflow.
Tatjana K. and Daniel P. of think modular - digital solutions GmbH are also scheduled to demonstrate how the ECA module can be used to build deep-cloning content workflows without custom code. The session will focus on low-code automation approaches using Drupal’s event-driven architecture.
Following the scheduled presentations, the meetup will continue with networking discussions, lightning talks, and informal community exchange beginning at 19:30 CEST. Food and drinks for attendees are being sponsored by Drupal Austria.
The programme reflects continuing interest across the Drupal ecosystem in AI-assisted workflows, low-code automation, component-driven site building, and evolving digital media infrastructure.
