Tom Ashe

Hello, my name is Tom Ashe. I have been a Software Engineer for over twenty years and have enjoyed every moment of it. I possess a proven track record of delivering effective, well tested software and solutions to business. During the hey-day of Silicon Valley and the advent of prolific home internet, I was working at Apple to design and implement systems that are still in use, two decades later.

I am skilled in many programming languages including Objective-C, Javascript, Swift, Visual Basic, PHP, Java, SQL, XML, HTML, CSS, PL/SQL, AppleScript, C, Basic, COBOL, RPG and perl. I am experienced using a variety of databases, including Oracle, MySQL, SQLite, Postgres, SQL Server, Sybase, Access, FoxPro, ButlerSQL, Ingres, FileMaker Pro, and DB2. I'm also proficient working with tools from web servers, DNS, DHCP, and OD/AD, among others.

I believe in a two way road between me and who I am employed for: If provided with the tools I need, I will utilize my extensive experience and education to adapt to any new task laid out before me and deliver anything needed to take the company from daily operations to an icon of industry.
