Daniel Cothran to Demonstrate ePub Generator and Charts Features at Bluefly Town Hall

The session will introduce a module for turning Drupal content into portable ebooks and include practical details from the established Charts ecosystem. Organisers say Daniel will demonstrate ePub Generator before sharing several features described in the briefing as “Charts Easter eggs.” Participants can join the hour-long session through Google Meet.

ePub Generator 1.0.1, released on 30 July 2026, works with Drupal 11.1 and later. It can create EPUB 3 files from individual content items or Book outlines, including a navigable table of contents, publishing metadata, embedded local images, and accessibility metadata. The project also provides Drush commands and an optional browser-based reader without requiring external binaries or a headless browser.

Daniel is also a co-maintainer of Charts, which lets site builders create visualisations from Views results or chart fields and supports multiple JavaScript charting libraries. Its current stable release, Charts 5.2.2, supports Drupal 10.3, 11, and 12.
