Drupal Events This Week: 17–23 August 2026

Community organisers have scheduled six Drupal events between 18 and 22 August 2026, including in-person gatherings in Cologne, Seattle, St. Charles, and Pune alongside online sessions. Event organisers and registration pages confirm the week’s programme.

Drupal-Day

Drupal-Day will take place on 18 August 2026 at PROGRESSIVE digital in Cologne, Germany. PROGRESSIVE digital describes it as the company’s first internal Drupal Day, with client work paused for a day of maintenance on contributed modules. Planned work includes issue-queue triage, merge-request reviews, Drupal 12 compatibility work, bug fixes, documentation and GitLab CI improvements, and releases where maintained modules are ready.

Code of Conduct Incident Response Workshop

The Code of Conduct Incident Response Workshop will run online from 13:00 to 17:00 UTC on 18 August 2026. The Drupal Community Working Group partners with Otter Tech on the recurring training for community members who may receive or respond to conduct reports. The four-hour workshop covers taking reports, determining responses, following up with reported individuals, discussing bias and power dynamics, and practising incident handling through scenarios.

Seattle Drupal User Group Social Meetup

The August Seattle Drupal User Group Social Meetup will run from 18:00 to 20:00 PDT on 18 August 2026 at Flight Club Seattle in South Lake Union. The organiser listing describes the gathering as an informal community social with a reserved darts area, along with time for conversation, food, and drinks.

Custom Field Module Fox Valley Drupal August 2026

Custom Field Module, hosted by Fox Valley Drupal, will run from 18:30 to 20:30 CDT on 19 August 2026 as a hybrid meeting at Fox.Build in St. Charles, Illinois. The technical session begins at 19:00 CDT and will feature Andy Marquis, maintainer of the Custom Field module, demonstrating its use for complex, repeatable, or nested Drupal content. Helppy Hour Drupal Brasil #7

Helppy Hour Drupal Brasil #7 will begin online at 20:00 BRT on 19 August 2026. The session will cover Drupal front-end development through live work with Single Directory Components, custom recipes, and Drupal Canvas. The programme includes creating a component, packaging it into a reusable recipe, integrating it with Canvas, and a live question-and-answer segment.

Drupal Pune Meetup

The Drupal Pune Meetup will run from 09:30 to 12:30 IST on 22 August 2026 at miniOrange in Pune, India. One session will examine a custom canvas_paragraphs module that connects Drupal Canvas’s Content Template system with Paragraph entities, including view-builder overrides, Field UI integration, field mapping, and Single Directory Component properties. A second session will compare five content management systems from usability, accessibility, and user-experience perspectives, followed by announcements and networking.
